Content

The workshop will delve into the critical role of robot decision-making in achieving an effective collaboration between humans and robots, emphasizing the creation of shared abstraction models to leverage their respective strengths. The workshop will explore how system transparency serves as a vital bridge between shared autonomy and trust, providing human operators with clear and comprehensive insights into the robot's intentions, actions, and decision-making processes. The workshop will focus on but is not limited to, the following topics:
  • Shared decision making
  • Human intention modeling
  • Explainable robot decision making
  • Explicit and implicit HR communication
  • Trust evaluation in HRC
  • Theory of mind
  • Human-aware task and motion planning
  • Data-driven synthesis of collaborative behaviors
  • Online learning from demonstration
  • Perspective taking in robotics
  • Cognitive-inspired robotics
  • Social norms and ethics in human-robot Interaction
  • Legible robot behaviors
